Le mouvement d'un corps est décrit par la equation horaire

\[ \begin{gather} S=-10+4 t \end{gather} \]

où la position est mesurée en kilomètres et le temps en heures. Déterminer:
a) La position initial;
b) La vitesse;
c) L'instant où le corps passe par l'origine;
d) La position du corps à l'instant 4 h.

Solution:

La equation horaire qui décrit un Mouvement Rectiligne Uniforme est donnée par

\[ \begin{gather} \bbox[background:#99CCFF; padding:10px; border-radius:10px;] {S=S_0+vt} \end{gather} \]

en faisant les associations suivantes

\[ \begin{array}{c} S & = & S_0 & + & v & t \\ & & \downarrow & & \downarrow & \\ S & = & -10 & + & 4 & t \end{array} \]

a) La position initial du corps

\[ \begin{gather} \bbox[background:#FFCCCC; padding:10px; border-radius:10px;] {S_0=-10\;\mathrm{km}} \end{gather} \]

b) La vitesse du corps

\[ \begin{gather} \bbox[background:#FFCCCC; padding:10px; border-radius:10px;] {v=4\;\mathrm{km/h}} \end{gather} \]

c) Quand le corps passe par l'origine, nous avons S = 0, en remplaçant cette valeur dans la equation donnée

\[ \begin{gather} 0=-10+4t \\[5pt] 4t=10 \\[5pt] t=\frac{10}{4} \end{gather} \]
\[ \begin{gather} \bbox[background:#FFCCCC; padding:10px; border-radius:10px;] {t=2,5\;\mathrm h} \end{gather} \]

d) Pour t = 4 h, la position sera

\[ \begin{gather} S=-10+4\times 4 \\[5pt] S=-10+16 \end{gather} \]
\[ \begin{gather} \bbox[background:#FFCCCC; padding:10px; border-radius:10px;] {S=6\;\mathrm{km}} \end{gather} \]
