The International Space Station (ISS) moves around the Earth in 1.5 h. Find:
a) The period of rotation in minutes and seconds;
b) The frequency of rotation of the station around the Earth in Hertz.

In an old clock of hands, find the period and frequency of rotation of the hours hand, minutes hand, and seconds hand (answers in seconds and hertz).

d) The speed of a point situated at the tip of one of the propeller blades;

A boy turns over his head, a stone tied to a cord with constant speed, the radius described by the circle made by the stone is 1 m and makes a turn in 2 s. Determine:
a) The speed of the stone;
b) The magnitude of the centripetal acceleration of the stone.

A locomotive departs from station A and reaches station B, at 240 km from the first after 4 hours. The diameter of each wheel is equal to 1.25 m, determine:
a) The average number of rotations per minute of each wheel;
b) The angular speed of a point situated on the wheel.
